Based on 165 reviewsThe Garden Bar in downtown New York City is widely praised for its lively atmosphere, attentive service, and creative cocktail offerings, often crafted with unique twists such as Asian-inspired flavors. Guests appreciate its prime location within a vibrant area, making it a great spot for socializing before or after walks around the neighborhood. While many highlight the pleasant ambiance and quality drinks, some mention the bar’s popularity leading to crowding during peak times. Feedback also notes the higher price point and occasional concerns about accessibility during busy periods. Overall, The Garden Bar is regarded as a dynamic and enjoyable destination for both casual visits and special occasions.
Ariel and Vera were so nice in getting my group the best possible table while Star made sure we had everything we needed. Great place and highly recommended -- in an awesome area to walk around in before/after!
no complaints, food was good space was pleasant to be in
Just went for drinks on the day they reopened. Was not disappointed! Off the menu cannot go wrong, but tell the bartender you want something a bit drier or more "ginny" and he crafts something unbelievable, with an Asian flair. Two things I wish for:1. I lived closer and visit more frequently; and2. They could serve drinks in glass and not plastic cups.I'll be back.
The Garden Bar is where the Chase Sapphire lounge is located downtown at the Seaport. You needed to show your Sapphire card to enter, I'm not sure if there is still the Chase association, but this is a great place to hang out and have a drink during the summer months.
Expensive and super crowded, but awesome vibes. This is what you come to the city for. It's a rare & beautiful chaos. Forget getting in here with a wheelchair at a busy time, though!
Tasty and strong cocktails! Long Island Ice Tea and Mojito are killer drinks!
One of my favorite local seasonal spots, sitting in the beautiful tropical plants with a fresh menu and a variety of cocktails. I’ll be sad when it gets too cold and they need to close it down to hibernate until next year. A nice lush verdant escape from the concrete of the city!
We made a 2:30PM brunch reservation on Sunday. When we got there they had a table ready for us but we were not happy on where they were going to seat my party of 4. The host said no problem, give me 5 minutes and I will have what you are looking for. In less than 5 minutes he came back and sat us in a beautiful area of the restaurant. The servers were great and attentive to our needs. The food was delicious and the drinks were tasty. Highly recommend the brunch service and menu.
